Caloundra Chorale & Theatre Company will stage a three weeks June season of the perennial hit, The Little Shop of Horrors.
This will be the last hurrah in the current Wurtulla theatre because after the Horror Shop season the theatre will be totally gutted and rebuilt, to affford more comfort and ease of operation.
Under the local zoning they couldn't build upwards or outwards to improve facilities, so the only way to go was to look inwards and see what could be done. The architect has come up with a scheme which will give the tiny, intimate theatre,a brand new feel It should reopen well before year's end and a mini-musical from the Nunsense series will be the pipe-opener.
